Bluff Country Retreat is operated by Chris Hongerholt.  She is married to Derrick and they have two daughters, Sophie and Clara.  Both Chris and Derrick grew up in the area.

Chris is a scrapbooker and thought the property would offer the ideal atmosphere for a crafting, scrapbooking, quilting, and ladies weekend retreats and resorts.  Our retreat is also a available for family and friend gatherings, holiday celebrations, and corporate meetings.

If you do not have a group to craft with, contact Chris about her hosted events.  You and a few friends can come without having to arrange a larger group.

You will enjoy one of the largest retreat spaces in the area with over 4,500 square feet to enjoy.  The craft room is open, spacious, and beautifully decorated with dual flat panel TVs to watch movies on.  There is a stereo in the basement for your music enjoyment and flat panel TVs, located in the living areas upstairs and downstairs, with DVD / Blue Ray / digital streaming capabilities.  If you interested in a smaller space, check out the Bunk House.
